Design Pillars

We build tools, experiences, and learning spaces where people can:
Play
Create
Listen
Connect
Not just to technology — but to each other, to culture, and to the purpose behind innovation.

Hana Pili is growing — step by step, with integrity, pace, and aloha — into a digital and physical ecosystem that supports learning, storytelling, and community-powered design.

We're not just teaching STEM.

We are nurturing a generation that will design with empathy, lead with heart, and imagine boldly.

Founder's Story

"I’ve seen how technology can feel distant or intimidating when it’s not grounded in belonging." -- Hawaiʻi STEM Labs Founder
Hana Pili is led by a Hawaiʻi educator and creative technologist committed to inclusive design, local innovation, and joyful learning.

This work is rooted in lived experience — growing up in Hawaiʻi, having close family and friends with different abilities, and being blessed by community care, and empowered to engage in hands-on creativity.

Hana Pili was born from a simple idea: learning should feel joyful, connected, and culturally grounded — and everyone should feel welcomed in the futures we build.

We move gently and intentionally — listening first, creating with aloha, and growing in community. Together, we are shaping futures where every learner can see themselves, feel supported, and move confidently into the world they are imagining.

This is just the beginning.

E hana pū kākou — let’s build the future together.
Let's Connect!
We build slowly, with care, and in community.
If you'd like to be part of this work, we’d be honored to meet you.
